A Dying Breed
New York natives come few and far between. Born and raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I remember the days before the local "artisanal" eateries, boutique shops, midnight cafés, and even trash receptacles.
Paige Russo is a Brooklyn-born actor, singer, writer & director. She is the founder and Front woman of Paige Russo Entertainment, a 14-piece live music entertainment collective. She has been working as a professional vocalist for over five years singing for live audiences, in the recording studio, or as a voice over actor. As a vocalist & band lead, she and her company have played at many of NYC’s top live music venues including Connelly’s Klub, Arlene's Grocery, Bowery Electric, Groove, The Django, Gran Torino, and many more. As an actor, she has played the leading role in THE WHOLE WORLD OVER, as a part of HB Studio’s UTA HAGEN AT 100 Year centennial celebration, as well as numerous productions throughout NYC. As a director, she served as Artistic Director for over five years of the youth theater community organization program at Our Lady of Pompeii RCC, in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Since 2019, she co-leads the Performing Arts Legacy Project at HB Studio, an initiative hosted by the Actor’s Fund & Research Center for Arts and Culture, aiming to support older professional artists document their legacies.
